How to choose a model
• By capability: for chat, try claude-sonnet-5 (strong reasoning) or gpt-5.5 (balanced); for coding, use claude-opus-4-8 or gpt-5.6-sol with tools such as Claude Code and Codex.
• By cost: at equal capability, prefer cheaper models (see table prices); for long context use Gemini's 1M window; for images use gpt-image-2 or gpt-5.5.
• By speed: for real-time apps prefer gemini-3.5-flash or claude-haiku-4-5; for dev/testing use the cheapest small models.
• By group discount: the same model may be priced differently across groups; the table shows the lowest price — check the "Group" filter for cheaper channels.
